About Us

Knudsen Knits is located in the state of Utah and owned by Farah Knudsen. Farah learned to knit nearly 40 years ago and loved it from the start. Along with a love of the craft grew a respect for the materials - particularly wool, and more specifically natural, non-superwash wool.  It is our desire to source and offer natural yarns – not only merino based yarns but those created from heritage breeds found within the United States.  By doing so, makers will have the opportunity to experience a wider range of wool characteristics and fabric possibilities and at the same time save lesser known breeds from extinction.
